Step 1

Select and prepare your brushes, then create your backgrounds and stock images. For the background, fill the background with black. Then, using those brushes and create the following two images. img1. Img2. For an anime character, either find a pre-drawn character or draw your own!

Step 2

Create a new file.

Step 3

Create a new layer; put the character in this layer. Then use magic wand tool select the white part. Then go Select > Save selection.

Step 4

Select inverse. Then press two times Ctrl+J, copy the select part into new layers. Then delete the original character layer.

Step 5

Create a new layer, put img2 into this layer like the following arrangement Change the layer 1 copy 2’s style to soft light, opacity to 60.

Step 6

Create a new layer, and fill it in grey color. Change the layer style and Opacity like following picture.

Step 7

Create a new layer, put img1 into the layer, change the layer’s style into screen.

Step 8

Create a new layer, draw as following.

Step 9

Create a new layer. Load brushStar.abr.

Step 10

Use the star brush draw some star into the new layer done! ~ Cecilia
